Designers Blecher and Fokstrot have built a small artificial island in the port of Copenhagen as the first prototype of the Copenhagen Islands project, the platform entitled CPH-Ø1 will be joined by a series of floating modules CPH-Ø2, Ø3 and more, including a floating sauna, a floating garden, a floating stage, a floating mussel farm and a floating sail-in café, etc. This 25 square metres oasis of relaxation is built of wood with a linden tree at center by using traditional techniques used for boat building.
