Mexican designer Moisés Hernández represents these common birds flying around Mexico including toucan, hummingbird, and Mexican quetzal by recreating them in his elegant series called Immersed Birds, the minimalistic decorative figures in wood are milled with CNC technology and then hand-painted in colored water that appear vibrant and delicate texture of intersections and transparency made by layers of color.
