Rare photographs of a pod of sleeping sperm whales in the Caribbean Sea

Photographer Franco Banfi teamed up with several scuba divers to capture fascinating photos of vertical sleeping whales in the Caribbean Sea, near Dominica Island. This team was following a pod of whales, suddenly, it seemed that they wanted to take a group nap, at that time, the lucky photographer seized the chance and recorded the rare scenes. Franco Banfi entered the rare photo shoot in the 2017 Big Picture Competition and was named a finalist in the category of Human/Nature.
