Leopold Banchini and Daniel Zamarbide, two architects from Swiss studio Bureau A, created this simple cabin that looks like a common boulder from the outside, they camouflaged the exterior of this wooden cabin with concrete shell and placed it at the remote area of the Swiss Alps. The room is furnished with a bed, a table, a stool, a window, and a fireplace. “The mountains have the power to call for feelings of fascination and fear at the same time,” the architects told Dezeen. “Switzerland has a strong tradition of observing the Alps, living with them, hiding inside them.”
