Rare photographs taken in the Victorian era showing that they weren’t as serious as we thought
Back in the Victorian era, the cost of photographing meant that Victorians only took pictures once or twice in their lifetime, and long exposure times made smiling difficult in front of a camera, so that in our impression Victorians are always with a plain face in pictures, however, the pictures below are different from those serious-looking portraits, photographers captured these rare black-and-white photos showing they weren’t as serious as we thought.
